University of Michigan, 7 septiembre 2022: (Professor Fenstermacher received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Cornell University in 1961 and 1970, respectively. From 1969-77 he held a number of faculty and administrative positions at the University of California, Los Angeles, and from 1977-85, he was a professor and administrator at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In 1985 he joined the faculty of the University of Arizona, Tucson, where he served 6 years as dean of the College of Education and was professor of education until 1996.
